Cockpit Country Crossing 3 - (Day Trip)
  • Duration: 5 Hours hike and 6-7 hours return drive.
  • Lunch: Carry your own food (Picnic in the forest)
  • Transportation: (Jeep/Mini-bus)

  • Departure: Kingston - 6:30 am and return 8:00 pm (Same day)
N.B. Meals  (not included) - Pack a Lunch for picnic stop en route.

 Registration, Briefing
 
7:00       a.m.                     
Departure for Albert Town, sightseeing en route – Trelawny
 
8:45        a.m.                      
Breakfast Stop - Juici Clarendon Park
                                                                                               
9:00       a.m.                      
Depart for Albert Town
 
11:00     a.m.                      
Arrive Albert Town – Rest Stop
 
11:15     a.m.                      
Depart for Burnt Hill Road entrance to the Cockpit Country via
St. Vincent.
                                               
11:30     a.m.                      
Arrive Burnt Hill road – Brief presentation on the history ecology & geology of the area formation and vegetation of wet limestone Cockpit Forest.
 
1:00       p.m.    HANDS ACROSS THE COCKPIT CEREMONY                 Pictures and discussion
LUNCH - Barbecue Bottom (packed meals – Carry your own food).
 
2:00       p.m.                      
Continue hike to Stonehenge (rest & photo-stop)
                                          
3:30       p.m.                     
Arrive at Stonehenge and board transport for Dornoch’s Head via Clarks Town and Stewart Town Sightseeing en route.

Arrive at the trail entrance to Dornoch and begin
hike to the Blue Hole
 
4:45        p.m.                      
Arrive Dornoch’s Head swimming (optional) and relaxation
 
5:30        p.m.                      
Exit the Dornoch’s.
 
6:15       p.m.                      
Depart for Kingston via Discovery Bay – Rest Stop at Scotchies Jerk Center
 
8:00       p.m.   
Arrive - Kingston
