OVERSEAS VOLUNTEERS
Wilderness Camp Site Volunteers
Duration: 1-3 months (between December & July)
No. of persons: 8 maximum
Duties: Landscaping, trail construction & repairs, cabin repairs and building maintenance for 11 acre camp site.
Volunteers are required to work 5 days per week; 6 hours per day in exchange for accommodation (rustic) and food and a chance for persons learning English to improve their language skills. Evenings and weekends are free. Sightseeing tours available some weekends.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role
Competence in trail construction, maintenance and Landscaping
Have personal Health Insurance
Be in good physical condition
Accustomed to living and working in wilderness conditions
good interpersonal skills and experienced in living and working in rural communities
